So this here is my third fursuit head. I myself am proud of what I've managed to accomplish but if I am to be building commissioned suits, I'd like to know what I need to improve in now. Other than my lazy nature to stop sewing and just start gluing.

Be as brutally honest as you want to be, I need to know the facts and friends and family will never tell them to me. I know he's a bit lopsided too, but I also was speed testing myself by making him in four days. Thanks again!

Ah alright I see it now. For comparison's sake, do you have a ref of the character you made here?

Don't rush ever IMO. Especially if you're starting out it'll start to look bad if the quality suffers. It won't do you any favors if you're just trying to seem like a better choice because you can complete something in so few days. If people like your work they'll be willing to wait the time it takes to construct it.
Speaking of.Construction looks sound but I'm not seeing any expression if you gave it any. It appears blank faced if it wasn't for the tongue sticking out (Also make your tongue out of fleece next time, two pieces sewn together and lightly stuffed for shape). If you plan to make piercings on a head make exaggeratedly large ones so it actually shows up over the fur. Small ones don't looks right and almost disappears in all the fluff.
The muzzle looks crooked from the front and the eyes slightly asymmetrical (viewer's left eye is higher up than the right).

I do not have one uploaded online, but I have it drawn, I can take a picture with my ipod and place it on FA for you to see since I forgot my camera cord at home. Here's his feral version and anthro

Oh, I completely agree with you on the rushing situation. I was getting ready to go on vacation when I started it about four days before. I was more or less curious of how well I could do in a limited time frame. Otherwise I plan on taking my sweet time no matter what. Quality is always better than speed, definitely.

I was going for realism if the largest effort I could. My previous mask, a snolf toned to my actual fursona, had a lot more expression than this guy. For him I was hoping for the serious "i'm kinda a badass" look. If I were to give it more expression, what would you suggest for him? Cause I'm already gonna be taking him apart a bit to add led's to the eyes and a fan in the snout.

Thanks for hte advice on the tongue btw as well. I was wondering what to use other than felt. And alright, whenever I get the chance I'll buy bigger bling for my fellow. I was just using a bunch of earings that I never wear and sticking them on haha...

And the muzzle has been a bit crooked since I first started with the foam but I couldn't seem to get it to right itself. He might just have to keep a crooked jaw. When I wear him though, the eyes seem to even themselves out but I see what you could mean with it being glued in two different lengths down the eyes. One looks like it's open more htan the other. I'll see what I can do to fix that when I take the eyes back out to place in the LED's.
